Who we are

MyWagWise (“we”, “us”) is a pet care app operated from Alexandreia, Imathia 593 00, Greece. For questions about this policy or your data, contact us through the contact form on our homepage or at support@notify.mywagwise.com.

What data we collect

• Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the basic profile details those providers share (name, email, profile photo).
• Pet data: pet names, species, breed, birthdate, weight, photos, notes, reminders and appointments you enter.
• Support data: your name, email and message when you use the contact form, plus any replies we send.
• Technical data: basic security and error logs generated when the app runs.

Where your data is stored

Your pet records are stored primarily in your browser’s local storage on your own device. Account, authentication and support-message data is stored securely with our hosting and database provider, protected by row-level security so that each account can only read its own data.

Why we process your data (legal basis)

• To create and secure your account — performance of a contract.
• To store and show your pet records and reminders — performance of a contract.
• To answer your support messages — legitimate interest and your request.
• To send service emails such as sign-up confirmation and password resets — performance of a contract.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

Cookies and local storage

We use only strictly necessary cookies and local storage: a session token to keep you signed in, a “remember me” preference, your cookie-notice choice, and your pet records on this device. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Clearing your browser storage signs you out and removes locally stored pet records.

How long we keep data

Account and profile data is kept until you delete your account. Support messages are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up on your requests. Pet data stored on your device remains until you delete it or clear your browser storage.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, object to and delete your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Greece, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority).

You can exercise the main rights directly in the app: open Settings → Privacy & data to download a copy of your data or to permanently delete your account. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to host the app and database, to authenticate sign-ins with Google and Apple, and to send transactional email. They process data on our instructions only.

Children

MyWagWise is not intended for children under 16.

Changes

If we update this policy we will change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
